I waited for Christmas to provide the game "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The DVD Game" to my little girl. She loves the Rudolph shows, and in some cases wore her Rudolph shirt as we played the game. It can be a cute game, and the complete family had fun playing it. Sure, us adults may not have played whether or not it wasnt for the child (shes 6), but the excitement my little girl showed while playing caused it to be fun for those us. It is a wonderful family game, and like the says, "Perfect For Family Holiday Fun!"

The adventure is advertized forever six to adult, and my six year old had no trouble understanding and playing the game. Its essential for 2-4 players, or for those who have more you can engage in as teams. Your box provides the game board, four player moves and stands, a Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster mover and stand, twenty toy tokens, a Bumble toy counter, numbered die, the video game DVD, and instructions.

Playing the video game is pretty easy, you roll the die and move around all the paths and work to land around the toy tokens. The object could be to collect three different colored toy tokens before other players and before Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster collects six toys.
The hard part is earning the toy tokens after you land on them. You need to participate in the DVD and answer a question. These are not as simple as you might consider think. Im ashamed to suggest, I missed a question. Some questions show a scene in the movie and you just must then answer the question after watching it. There can be a in the places you experience a jack in the therapy lamp plus the boxes are confused and its important to then you know what box Jack is in. I followed the lamp pretty easy, but one or two while in the group didnt follow as well. So, its not necessarily super easy. It challenged the adults a bit. (The one I missed has been a question where you had to look at a scene and after that answer a question. I failed to recall what color something was on account of focusing on a better perhaps the picture that I became sure the question would discuss - shame on me.)

Total, it was eventually an exciting family game. Downside is you must have a TV and DVD player to play. Sometimes it is nice to receive games to get away from those fantastic tv set. However, if you have had a TV and DVD player, this is the fun game whilst in the the words of my daughter when Gurus her to describe the experience, "Fun, Great, Perfect!"

Hands up all of the users who know the names of Santas original reindeer, hands down again again if you think Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is among them.
