I waited for Christmas to allow the adventure "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The DVD Game" to my little girl. She loves the Rudolph shows, and in many cases wore her Rudolph shirt when we played the game. Its a cute game, and all the family had fun playing it. Sure, us adults may not have played whether wasnt with the child (shes 6), but the excitement my litttle lady showed while playing made it fun like us. It is a good family game, and like the therapy lamp says, "Perfect For Family Holiday Fun!"
The game is advertized for ages six to adult, and my six year old had no trouble understanding and playing the game. It is good for 2-4 players, or should you have more you can play as teams. The offers the game board, four player moves and stands, a Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster mover and stand, twenty toy tokens, a Bumble toy counter, numbered die, the adventure DVD, and instructions.
Playing the adventure is pretty easy, you roll the die and maneuver the different paths and if appropriate land within the toy tokens. The object could be to collect three different colored toy tokens before one another players and before Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster collects six toys.
The hard part is earning the toy tokens whenever you land on them. You must be in the DVD and answer a question. These are not as fundamental as you might think. Im ashamed to imply, I missed a question. Some questions show that you a scene of your movie so you must then answer the question after watching it. There is just one for which you go to the jack in the together with the boxes are confusing and you will need to then theres more box Jack is in. I followed the lamp pretty easy, but several within the group didnt follow as well. So, not necessarily super easy. It challenged the adults a bit. (The one I missed would have been a question where you had to visit a scene and be able to answer a question.
