The game is advertized for ages six to adult, and my six year old had no trouble understanding and playing the game. Its essential for 2-4 players, or when youve got more you can start to play as teams. The lamp provides the game board, four player moves and stands, a Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster mover and stand, twenty toy tokens, a Bumble toy counter, numbered die, the game play DVD, and instructions.
Playing the action is pretty easy, you roll the die and move around the numerous paths trying to land about the toy tokens. The object may be to collect three different colored toy tokens before and the second players and before Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster collects six toys.
Hard part is earning the toy tokens after you land on them. You have got to have fun playing the DVD and answer a question. These are not as simple as you could think. Im ashamed to share, I missed a question. Some questions show that you a scene of your movie and also you must then answer the question after watching it. There is an in the places you take in a jack in the actual as well as the boxes are confusing and you will want to then theres more box Jack is in. I followed the lamp pretty easy, but a few from the group didnt follow as well. So, isnt super easy. It challenged the adults a bit. (The one I missed was a question where you needed to percieve a scene after which it answer a question. I failed recall what color something was due to emphasizing a different an area of the picture that I am sure the question would talk about - shame on me.)
Overall, it had become an amazing family game. Negative thing is you must have a TV and DVD player to play. Sometimes it is nice to experience games to emerge from the tv screen set.
