Sure, us adults might not have played whether or not it wasnt towards the son or daughter (shes 6), but the thrill my little girl showed while playing lasted fun for all of us. It is a nice family game, and like your box says, "Perfect For Family Holiday Fun!"
The experience is advertized for ages six to adult, and my six years old had no trouble understanding and playing the game. It is great for 2-4 players, or for those who have more you can engage in as teams.
